Design and Engineering
DESIGN AND ENGINEERING
Our engineers are second to none in the industry. In addition to being fully trained and certified, they work closely with the installation team. By doing so, they have a better understanding of how their designs translate in the field, and how to optimize those designs to satisfy local and national codes. What we refer to as "value engineering" is best explained to our clients as engineering value: creating the most efficient design with an eye on the bottom line. Our engineers and designers know the fire protection industry inside and out. They use their experience and expertise to develop or refine existing plans to maximize time and budget.
Our engineers work as closely with the installation team as they do with their fellow designers, which allow them to value engineer most plans to meet your bottom line. Whether or not you choose to use our installation services, you can be assured that the plans we've provided will satisfy your business needs in the most effective and efficient manner.
We keep our team at the forefront of industry trends by regularly investing in both information and technology. We require our engineers and designers to stay current on national and local codes, including NFPA 13, 20, 25, 101 and 72, and others; along with FBC and BOCA codes. They have also been outfitted with 3-D capability.
Our Process for Designing and Filing of Sprinkler Systems
ASSESSING YOUR NEEDS
Does your industrial warehouse only needs a sprinkler system that can thoroughly douse a fire?
Do you wish the sprinkler system in your luxury apartment building to be less of an eyesore?
Are you just trying to upgrade your space before the deadline, which requires all office buildings 100 feet or more in height to install a full sprinkler system by July 1, 2019?
Before beginning a project of any size, we first want to ensure that we know exactly what you’re looking for. One of our designers will identify the goal of your project and meet your needs.
We use state-of-the-art technology to design your fire protection systems. This helps us ensure that our plans are accurate and fulfill all your project criteria and the Fire Marshal code. By using building simulation technology, we can plan your sprinkler system design with little to no intrusion, while also making life a little easier for you in the process.
With over 20 years of experience in the evolving fire protection industry, American fire sprinkler has emerged as an exceptional design and consulting firm using the latest software application such as
Gathering Feedback Once we’ve designed your system, our team of engineers and drafters will prepare the final documents and obtain NYC DOB approvals to which we will then pull our work permits and begin the installation
